Product Application

PVA2499 is an important polyvinyl alcohol model. The following is its introduction:

      - Naming rules: "24" means the degree of polymerization is about 2400, and "99" means the degree of alcoholysis is 99%.
 
      - Physical and chemical properties:
        Appearance is white or slightly yellow powder, granular solid, non-toxic and odorless. Its aqueous solution has good viscosity and film-forming properties. It can be well dissolved in hot water above 90°C, and   its aqueous solution is easy to gel at low temperature.

     - Performance characteristics: It has high viscosity, strong adhesion, good film-forming property, strong water resistance, low rewetting, low reviscosity, high crystallinity and high purity.
   
     - Main uses: In the textile industry, it is an excellent warp yarn slurry and fabric finishing agent; in the field of building decoration, it can be used as cement and mortar additives, interior and exterior wall paint additives, and molding board adhesives; in the chemical industry, it is used as a polymer emulsifier, dispersant and raw material for the production of polyvinyl alcohol  and butyral resins; in the wood and paper industries, it can act as an adhesive; in agriculture, it can be used as a soil conditioner, pesticide adhesion enhancer and for the manufacture of polyvinyl alcohol film; in the field of oil extraction, it can be used as a cementing agent; it is also widely used in cosmetics, medicine, printing, ceramics, steel, electronics, electroplating and other industries.
